Box Office Productions LLC (BOP) in association with Alpine Pictures, Inc (API) has recently negotiated with Elliot Lester to direct Wesley Strick’s Love Is the Drug.

August 15, 2004 -- Mr. Lester successfully directs sharp and effective music videos for young, high profile artists including: Jessica Simpson, Hillary Duff, Kiley Dean, Grits and recently Jason Mraz for his song You and I Both from the Elektra record release Waiting for my Rockets to Come. Elliot has worked on nearly 100 music videos in his young career already, with such record and music companies as Disney, Sony, Hollywood, Interscope, Elektra Entertainment, EMI, Universal and Motown. In addition to Elliot’s work on music videos he has also worked on commercials for some of the top companies of the world: Mercedes Benz, BMW, Toyota, Nissan, Mc Donalds, Motorola, Marlboro and Heineken to name a few. Elliot has won several Telly Awards, and has been nominated for such prestigious awards as the Clio Commercial Award, BTAA and MVPA. He was a selected speaker at Cannes, as Young Director of the Year. Most recently Mr. Lester has received nominations by the 2004 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) for his work with Jessica Simpson on her video “With You” in BOTH the Best Female Video and Best Pop Video categories. Mr. Lester is currently shooting a music video for Five for Fighting’s “ The Devil in the Wishing Well”. BOP, API and Wesley are all very excited to be working with this great talent.

Elliot brings a wry style of humor and pathos to the project. His deft and flawless approach will weave together a taut visual look that satisfies the youth market, while not alienating a more mature audience. Elliot is currently working with Wesley on script revisions, melding the written word with the visual medium of cinema.
